Driss Temsamani is the Americas Head of Digital for Treasury & Trade Solutions, part of Citi’s Services Business. In this role, he is responsible for Citi’s Digital Bank Platform that delivers a full range of capabilities for cash management, liquidity investment services, working capital solutions, commercial cards, trade and digital assets, enabling multinational corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations to operate in the most connected and efficient manner in the United States, Canada, and Latin America.During his three decades career at Citi, Driss held various influential leadership roles across Product, Clients and Market Management. Before assuming his current America’s responsibilities, Driss was CIO and Head of Strategic Planning for Citigroup e-Business Latin America, Head of Business Management, Business Intelligence, Data Innovation, and Region Head of the Commercial Bank for Cash and Trade.Throughout his career, Driss has been a guiding voice for Central Banks and Regulators on Digital Policy with focus on Financial Inclusion and Market Infrastructure modernization. He is a frequent speaker at the Latin America Federation of Banks, Association of Supervisors of Banks of the Americas, and the Latin America Technology Banks Congress.Since early 2000s, Driss understood the power of Internet in Banking and has been a staunch advocate for digital transformation. Because of his extensive industry knowledge, he is a highly sought-after thought-speaker and had numerous published articles and interviews with CNN, Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal and other regional media outlets, addressing the challenges and opportunities of the financial infrastructure in today’s digital economy.Beyond his professional focus, Driss gives willingly of his time to important causes. He is a Board member of Junior Achievement Americas, The George Washington University’s School of Business for U.S. Department Homeland Security Technology Transition and a Member of The U.S. State Department Global Entrepreneurship Program, as well as the Aspen Institute “Partners for a New Beginning”.
