- Contribute to the development, promotion and delivery of multiple events of varying scope and size with a focus on Orientations programming for First year students.- Build relationships and maintain regular, professional communication with campus and community partners, including different faculties and schools around UBC.

- Provide exceptional customer support to varied demographic of fans, coaches and athletes, adapting tone and communication-style to each user group.- Assist with the set up and tear down of all varsity events including the display of Thunderbird branding pieces, preparation of equipment for promotions, reservation of seating areas etc.

- Act as a UBC ambassador for student leadership and as a positive and professional representativeof the UBC Jump Start and Imagine UBC programs.- Engage with first-year students to provide support, community building, peer helping, and resource referrals as needed.

- Work in the absence of a regular teacher to aid students in understanding a subject matter.- Modify lesson plans to fit the students' needs in the classroom.

- Hostess: Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, while continually monitoring restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.- Phone Attendant: Take orders, answer various types of questions, make reservations and direct calls to different staff members as required

- Help customers with checking out their items, while ringing up sales as well as honouring coupons.- Communicate with managers and supervisors to address concerns and better the customer experience.
