As a kid, I’ve always thought of college as one of the final destinations in the path towards success. Now I never knew what defined success and when one can have officially attained it, and although I still haven’t figured out what success means to me as an individual, I hope to learn this, along with the college education I receive in an academically stimulating environment like UTD.Business is one of those fields that is constantly being undermined by the more popular majors that are said to be more lucrative but the versatility of this field is a significant feature that is often overlooked. Business plays a crucial role in every industry, and I love that I can integrate my passion for the business field with interests I may have in other fields of work. As music has been a constant driving force in my life, I believe that a business career can potentially combine my love for business and music by allowing me to play a role in businesses in the music industry. Keeping in mind that interests change throughout one’s lifetime, a business career will allow me to be a part of any industry, whether it be healthcare, technology, or even food. Every company requires the integration of computer information systems and technology, and I hope to make a lasting impact on the business I work with in the future by utilizing the skills and knowledge I gain while pursuing my undergraduate studies!
