One of the biggest challenges of my life often involved how to balance a highly logical character with an artistic temperament - ironic since by default I am a person who is always seeking answers to life’s conundrums. It is of no surprise that I’ve been drawn to a career that employs a certain amount of judiciousness, such as data operations; however the “irrational” part of me kept seeking some form of professional outlet. As life would have it I found a way to deal with this paradox, and in turn was able to create a fulfilling parallel career that not only serves as an artistic channel, but also allows me to expand my contributions to both occupations. In my role as a photographer, logic had married itself to art, and the two have been fairly happy ever since. Within both professions I get to connect with people in a way that allows for objectivity, reflection, discernment, compassion, and imagination – elements I find necessary to thrive in any chosen vocation. I am a firm believer in being perceptive, and I find that incorporating multiple viewpoints on subjects results in a clearer understanding. I also enjoy intelligent conversation and sharing ideas with others, so feel free to drop me a line.
