Provide clinical psychology and clinical health psychology services in independent practice to support mental and behavioral health. In collaboration with jail correctional officers and staff, conducted risk assessments and crisis intervention with suicidal and homicidal inmates. Provided short-term psychoanalytic psychotherapy to graduate and undergraduate students of a private Catholic college. Received advanced training and intensive supervision in Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP). Conducted intake assessments, triaged new patients, and provided crisis intervention and management to suicidal students. Provided consultation to other clinic psychologists and non-clinical College staff about student behavioral concerns. Presented various psychoeducational lectures on campus addressing topics including relationship violence. Co-facilitated a psychoanalytically-oriented group for female sexual trauma survivors. Full-time, CAPIC-accredited predoctoral internship.

Provided psychodynamic psychotherapy and crisis assessment and intervention services to a diverse caseload of older adults residing in an assisted living facility, including residents receiving palliative care for terminal medical conditions. Facilitated process and psychoeducational groups on topics including men and masculinity, LGBT identities, aging and sexuality, death and dying, and mindfulness. Trained and collaborated with nursing assistants to implement dynamic and evidence-based interventions to manage behavioral symptoms of neurocognitive disorders including dementia.

Provided short-term individual therapy to diverse students in undergraduate and graduate degree programs experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and adjustment difficulties. Utilized a short-term psychodynamic treatment model. Received case consultation and weekly individual supervision from the two licensed clinical psychologists on staff.

Provided individual psychotherapy to adults with severe and persistent mental illness from diverse backgrounds; led process and psychoeducation groups; conducted cognitive psychological testing. Received weekly individual supervision, group supervision, and didactic trainings. Responsibilities included completing Contra Costa County billing paperwork, chart maintenance, crisis stabilization, case management, and aftercare planning.

Facilitated the provision of mental health and medical services to students of diverse races, ethnicities, cultures, and sexual orientations. Coordinated clinical case conferences; analyzed program outcome data; co-facilitated a process group focused on healthy relationship development.

Assisted Aubyn Stahmer, Ph.D., in her research on the effectiveness of classroom-based behavioral interventions for autism by coding video recordings of actual clinical interactions with students. Engaged 2 and 3 year-old preschool students in play and classroom activities at Alexa's PLAYC, an early education program offered through Rady Children's Hospital's Autism Discovery Institute.

Assisted older, developmentally delayed adults in completing Activities of Daily Living and socially engaging with his local community.

Taught weekly discussion sections to 20 students in an introductory, undergraduate statistics course. Lectured to the class of 300 students on the Two-Sample T-Test, a statistical hypothesis test.
