Currently, I work as Program Specialist for Student Services, supporting staff at all levels of the school district to improve practices engaged in supporting students with Individualized Education Programs, 504 plans, Language Development needs. In supporting this effort I engage in action research cycles to garner meaningful data to inform decisions of district and school leadership, as well as instructional staff. Since joining Snoqualmie Valley School District, I have participated in planning and leading initiatives to create strong systems of support related to students with behavioral needs, technology hardware and software system updates for students and staff.

School Adjustment Program Teacher supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Behavioral disabilities in a hybrid self-contained to general education settings. Educated students in self-management, social/emotional skills, health needs, interrelationship skills while modeling skills for successful lives. School Adjustment Program went from reporting 80+ isolation and restraints incidents with little to no student reintegration in the general education setting to less than 5 and exiting students from the program, in the first year.
