Dr. Golden is the Pontarelli Professor of Environmental Sustainability & Finance at Syracuse University. He is also the founder and director of the Dynamic Sustainability Lab supporting industry and governments with the transition to a Net-Zero Carbon Economy. He directs the graduate program on Sustainable Organizations and Policy.Previously, he founded and co-directed the Sustainability Consortium as well as the founder of the National Center of Excellence on SMART Innovations. Dr. Golden was the faculty chair of the Business and Environment program at Duke University and was one of the first faculty members in the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University. He has also served as the President of a University, as well as a Vice Chancellor of Research & Economic Development at East Carolina University & associate Vice Provost of Research + Executive Director of Corporate Relations at Duke University. He served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Scientific Counselors to US EPA and received The Aspen Institute's Faculty Pioneer Award winner for work on Business and the Environment.
