A seasoned, multi-disciplined (accounting and information systems) professional who has worked for both public & private sector firms in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise business systems. Experienced in managing large I/T projects, programs, and portfolios that span over thirty years. Dr. Pullen's academic experience includes graduate degrees in accounting, information systems, project management, and public administration as well as a Doctoral in Business Administration degree in Project Management. He continues to expand his academic experience by completing p certificates in several fields. Dr Pullen has been bestowed several awards during his career. In 2015, he was awarded the Department of Justice's Attorney General Award for Excellence in Information Technology and again in 2023 for Excellence in Management for his work with the Department's Unified Financial Management System. In 2024, he was recognized by NextGov/FCW with a Federal 100 award for his contributions to public sector technology. One of his applications, the innovative Justice Enterprise Data Integration & Business Intelligence Portal - Next Generation (JEDI-NG) system, was awarded the 2024 SAP Sapphire Outstanding Achiever Award. Academically, Dr. Pullen serves as an adjunct professor for several colleges and universities, teaching undergraduate and graduate accounting, business, and information system courses. Also, he currently serves on the AGA Higher Education Committee.Dr. Pullen's contribution to academia via serving as an adjunct (part-time) professor since 1998 for several colleges & universities, teaching a variety of undergraduate & graduate courses in accounting, business, and project management.
