Chartered Clinical Psychologist, registered with the HCPC, BPS and ACP-UK, with wide experience of working with young people and families and a particular interest in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Conditions and ADHD. Also an accredited clinical supervisor, available for clinical supervision. In 2018 Jessica co-founded the Solihull Autism Assessment Service with fellow Clinical Psychologist, Dr Zoe McGovern, with the aim of offering independent neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adults across the West Midlands. This service has grown and developed over the last few years and now has a well-established multi-disciplinary team in place completing large numbers of assessments both locally and now nationally, with SAAS assessments and reports being very well regarded. As a representation of this success, in 2023 SAAS were approached by The Antser Group with a proposal to roll out the SAAS clinical model under their new planned service, the Autism Assessment Hub. This was an exciting opportunity which SAAS took up in September 2024, with Jessica and Zoe now leading on and directing the clinical operations of the new national service. Jessica’s prior independent practice offered assessments of the behavioural, emotional, psychological and developmental difficulties affecting young people as well as psychological interventions as appropriate. This included work with the full spectrum of psychological difficulties including depression, anxiety and panic, trauma and PTSD, relationship problems, bereavement and loss, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, self-esteem and identity issues. Jessica has wide experience of assessing and working with cognitive impairment, learning disabilities and in particular, Autism. She is also keen and experienced in the area of service development and has contributed to a number of changes and developments to Psychology/therapy services throughout her career so far, prior to setting up and developing her own independent practice and service and now leading on the development of the clinical model for the Autism Assessment Hub.
