I am the Managing Director of ZE Passivhaus, an engineering practice that specialises in constructing and designing efficient and healthy buildings. With over 20 years of international experience in the field of Passivhaus and timber engineering, I have acquired multiple credentials as a Passivhaus Certifier, Trainer, and Designer, as well as a Passivhaus building component consultant.My mission is to help contractors, self-builders, architects, and other construction professionals achieve their common goals in terms of comfort, health, and energy savings for the occupants of their buildings. I offer a range of consultancy and on-site services, including blower door and ventilation training, structural analysis of CLT and timber frame buildings, and offsite manufacturing plant setup. I am also an active member of several European research groups and networks that aim to advance the knowledge and practice of the holistic design of taller timber buildings. Additionally, I am involved in innovative projects such as SmileSensors, a company that designs and manufactures high-quality covers and patches for children with diabetes, and Timbertech, a software partner in Spain for timber engineering solutions.
