I am a Medicinal Organic Chemist with a diverse background. My research focuses are DNA structures and energy interactions, anti-microbial DNA minor groove binders, boron heterocyles and fluorescent compounds, and DNA binding photodynamic therapy and neutron capture therapy chromophores.I also have four years experience in the nonprofit industry as a project manager and Executive Director, empowering diverse communities towards health & wellness through life skills training, work readiness training, development, motivation, and support. This experience has allowed me to address urban secondary STEM education and more easily support diverse students in STEM higher education and research.My vision is to create a sustainable network of leaders who focus on equality of education, economics, and resources towards inspiring tomorrow’s scientists.
