Justin Green is a research fellow at Orthopaedic Research UK (ORUK), where he explores the use of machine learning to predict outcomes after surgery. He is also the clinical data science lead at OpenPredictor, a startup that develops AI-based decision support systems for surgical risk profiling. He has a background in orthopaedic surgery and has been working as a trainee at NHS for seven years.Justin is passionate about innovating and improving healthcare with digital technologies. He completed his MBA at Northumbria University, focusing on the adoption of AI clinical support systems in healthcare. He is currently pursuing his PhD in AI at Newcastle University, where he applies his expertise in data analysis and analytical models to healthcare problems. He has also been involved in promoting digital innovation and informatics training within the NHS, through his leadership and management roles in various committees and forums.
