I assessed the organization and based on that assessment I immediately implemented several staffing changes too include additional staffing, I initiated several new processes and procedures, and also procured the assistance from experts throughout the Air National Guard. I followed these actions with a very detailed strategic plan for the upcoming year that will assist the office in far exceeding the goals established by the National Guard Bureau. The results of these changes within R&R office are evident in the increase in member participation, member satisfaction and an increase in members gained by the Wing as a whole.
