Dr. John Reid, President of JER Online worked initially on the credit side of academe as a faculty member who had strong entrepreneurial interests. In 1994, "Dr. John" as he is known to colleagues left his university teaching position to form JER Group, Inc. (JER Online). Dr. John is quick to point out that "developing a business from the ground floor up and maintaining growth and profitability for the past 25 years has been the most rewarding of all professional experiences." JER Online continues to attract business domestically and internationally. We work with corporate and new and existing community college, state and land-grant partners to generate opportunities to build multi-faceted streams of revenue on the non-credit side; market our affiliate program; use social networking to generate more business; and invite entrepreneurs to participate in collaborative and innovative joint ventures.Our specialties include online course development, curriculum development, sales and distribution; special projects, entrepreneurial ventures, prior learning assessment for workplace employees, and Technical Writing and Certification Training.
