Professor Connolly has co-supervised or otherwise mentored a number of engineering graduate students with his electrical and biomedical engineering colleagues. Although not a linguist, Professor Connolly’s research in brain recordings and language together with his research that formed the foundations of VoxNeuro resulted in his move to McMaster University and the position of Departmental Chair that he held for 7 years bringing in new hires, a first-time world ranking, and a new graduate program.
