About John Harrison

I have more than 25 years' experience of assisting pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies with the selection and successful integration of cognitive testing into their drug development programs. Recent successful projects have included the development of Brintellix with Lundbeck, Souvenaid with Nutricia and Encenicline with EnVivo Pharma. In the past 2 years I have worked with more than 40 organisations engaged in drug development, including 8 of the current 'Fortune' top 10 pharmaceutical companies. I am an Associate Professor at the Alzheimer Center at the VU Medical Center in Amsterdam and a Visiting Professor with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London. My current activities include i) the measurement and treatment of cognition in depression, ii) the potential for blending drug and non-drug interventions in a variety of CNS disorders and iii) the further development of appropriate cognition tools for use in studies of prodromal and early Alzheimer's disease.Specialties: Cognitive test selection and administration
