Dr. Vazquez supports the strategic vision of the organization and will assess, propose and drive programs to support workforce development, employee engagement, leadership development, succession planning and other related programs with measurable outcomes that demonstrate achievement. She is responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development, continuous learning and performance improvement of staff, supervisors and emerging leaders.Dr. Vazquez has been a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (PSHRM) since 2006 and was a member of the Board where she was the Co-Chair of the PSHRM Symposium from 2014 through 2017. In partnership with the Emerging Leaders Committee, she helped launch and implement the successful HR Development Series for three years. The series provided valuable career information for current, aspiring and in transition HR professionals who wanted to establish a definitive plan for progression within the field relative to their interests and goals. In 2019, she rejoined the PSHRM Board as the V.P. of Programming where she oversees the strategic design and direction of the organization’s live professional development events and webinars. Starting in 2021, she will assume the Board role of EVP of Strategic Initiatives for PSHRM which supports the Thought Leadership, Partnerships, and Workforce Readiness committees.She is also the recipient of the 2015 Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year for Medium Size companies.An avid runner, she finished her 10th Broad Street Run 10-Miler and the Philadelphia Half- Marathon and is currently training to run her first Spartan race.
