Terrell Consulting is a consulting practice established to engage leaders working through complex people problems. Drs. Jeff and DeAnne Terrell provide services in office or out of office, as needed. Specialties include family business transitions, conflict in small closely held family businesses, and working with family businesses facing generational conflicts that are interfering with life and work. Other leadership interests include transitional and transformational leadership, understanding and coping with difficult people, team building, and strategic planning for organizations.

Responsibilities involved all programs at all locations of the Mission, including The Shepherd's Inn, Fuqua Hall, The Potter's House, My Sister's House, and the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children. Served as part of the organization's senior leadership team. Reorganized program staffing from geographical to functional-unit model, initiated new services delivery model, created new assessment plan, and upgraded hiring requirements for clinical staff.

Compass Resources was a counseling practice in the West Cobb area staffed by psychologists, counselors, and marriage and family therapists. The group served every population and demographic, including complex trauma, sexual addiction, marriage counseling, second half life issues, child counseling, adolescent therapy, women's issues, men's issues, and psychological assessments of every kind.This practice was designed specifically to assist emerging clinicians in establishing a practice, and was very successful in launching a number of clinicians through the years. As my time at Richmont ended, the time involved in supervision and administration became more challenging than I wished to manage. All clinicians transitioned to other practices.

As chief executive officer, I led Richmont through a merger with a larger entity, retaining our name. During my tenure at Richmont, the school obtained regional accreditation, increased student enrollment by 300%, doubled the annual giving prior to our merger with another nonprofit, generated two seven-figure gifts, established a number of innovative specializations within our counseling programs, grew our full-time personnel from 6 to 60, added an extension campus, received approval from our regional accrediting body to launch a Ph.D. program, and established a new School of Ministry to complement our Schools of Psychology and Counseling.I was also very active in regional accreditation activities, including serving as a site visitor with SACS on numerous visits to evaluate other universities. I was also involved in national and international professional organizations in psychology and in higher education.

Recruited to PSI originally as president; served for a portion of this time as president prior to leading PSI to a merger with the Chattanooga Bible Institute and assuming the role of Executive Vice President

Served in endowed chair in the largest department of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, at the time, the third largest seminary in the world. I taught approximately twenty-four different master's level courses during my tenure there, served on student committees, assisted the seminary in the creation of new degree programs, and served on other faculty committees.

I served as a faculty member, interim director of clinical training, and clinician working with private patients during this time.
