Management of the research, development and engineering activities at the Advent Technologies A/S facilities in Aalborg, Denmark.Responsible for the continued development of the SereneU , SereneS, SereneM and SereneP product line ; managing incoming engineering change requests from the field; ensuring continuous product updates based on hundreds of thousands of operating hours in the field at customers. Driving fuel cell technology development towards lower fuel cell stack and product costs.Enable R&D operations in Denmark to support the effort of validating the use of the new Ion Pair MEA technology in the SereneU products. Support the rest of the Advent organization with product inputs and experience from several years of industrialization experience with manufacturing and servicing complex fuel cell products.

My work as associate professor includes theoretical and experimental analysis of fuel cell systems. Design and control of fuel cell systems, characterisation and modelling of single cells, fuel cell stacks and fuel cell systems. Currently my research focus lies within the area of high temperature PEM fuel cells. Furthermore I conduct research within li-ion battery technology with focus their application on electrical vehicles, including design and integration of fuel cell systems to improve performance and range of the vehicles.
