Since the mid-1990s, Dr Julia Evans has consulted extensively with industry associations, not for profits, and corporates on organisational reputation and relevance strategy; future workforce development; and diversity, engagement and inclusion. A key capability is her ability to translate theory, research, and complex ideas into highly relevant and effective strategic direction, governance standards, policies and operational practice, and educational experiences.Her world-first doctoral thesis explored how ethics and power significantly impact effective small business education in Australia and established a model for better practice for pre-entry education and induction training in the franchise sector. Key findings have been adopted by franchisors and service providers, presented to the peak national body and regulator the ACCC, and cited in numerous research and submissions to government inquiries.
