His vision for his country and its future inspired many, though his journey continues with greater determination to drive change in Ethiopia and beyond.A member of several prestigious international organizations, Kasahun has earned significant recognition for his expertise and dedication. In 2023, he was the only official candidate from Ethiopia to join the Youth Sounding Board Advisory Council for the European Union International Relations and Cooperation Commission, where he contributes to shaping policies related to youth engagement, governance, and international cooperation.Kasahun's contributions extend to conservation and sustainable development as a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the Crocodile Specialist Group (CSG). His work in these areas is aligned with his commitment to environmental protection and biodiversity conservation.Kasahun’s professional affiliations include being a member of the African Shapers +, the Ethiopian Veterinarian Association (EVA), and the Public Health Professionals Association of Ethiopia. His involvement in these networks allows him to stay at the forefront of veterinary, health, and policy-related initiatives impacting Ethiopia and Africa.In his role as Secretariat of the Audit and Inspection Committee for the Ethiopian Youth Council, Kasahun has demonstrated leadership and governance skills, contributing to Ethiopia's youth empowerment. He also serves as the Country Representative for Chongqing Fangtong Pharmaceutical Ltd. and as a Farm Veterinarian at Oriental Steel Factory, ensuring high standards in agricultural practices and animal welfare.Kasahun is also an active member of the Executive Committee of Ethiopian Citizens for Social Justice (Ethzema), where he champions social justice and democratic principles. In addition, he has worked as a professional assistant to the Chinese Embassy in Addis Ababa as part of the Agricultural Expert Team, reinforcing international collaborations in agriculture and development.
