Dr Kate Grant is a physician with over 27 years of experience in general practice and emergency medicine. She has a special interest in cancer diagnosis, and postgraduate qualifications in dermatology, obstetrics and gynaecology, genitourinary medicine, family planning, obesity management,women's health. She currently works at North Norfolk Primary Care Rapid Diagnostic Service, a clinic that offers early cancer diagnostics and the SNSS pathway, a service for patients with serious non-specific symptoms.Dr Kate Grant is also a portrait and seascape artist, who has been painting with watercolors and acrylics for over 27 years. She has a portfolio of 70+ NHS healthcare worker portraits during the pandemic, as well as children's portraits and medical portraits. She was nominated one of five finalists for the Aneurin Bevan People’s Choice Award in 2021. She has exhibited her work at galleries in Florida and Texas, and the UK and has provided illustrations and infographics for The Curbsiders, a popular internal medicine podcast. Kate has collaborated with Pint of Science/Creative Reactions in Cambridge for the last 11 years, and in 2024 won a best in show award for her piece at the LifeArc Translational Science Summit Exhibition.
