King, PsyD is an associate professor and geropsychology concentration director in the clinical psychology doctoral program at William James College. She teaches courses including Ethics, Adult CBT, Aging & Mental Health, and Grief & Death in Clinical Practice. She is currently chair of the PsyD program's DEI committee and a faculty advisor for the Student Mindfulness Group and Gero Volunteer Corps.Her research explores aging, adultism, death anxiety, professional training issues (eg, burnout, competence), and gender/sexual/relationship diversity. She is a project colead for APA's Div 44 Committee on Consensual Non-monogamy and on the Board of the Massachusetts Gerontology Association.
