About Dr Charlotte Keating

I'm a Clinical Psychologist. I’ve recently relocated from Melbourne to the Lower North Shore, Sydney.I work in private practice in Mosman and the CBD and see patients from age 10 and upwards.My areas of practice include: mood, anxiety, behavioural difficulties, substance related and internet/gaming problems and identity. A significant component of my work is with school-related transitions including primary, secondary and post-school adjustment. I also work with corporate executives. My experience includes the delivery of keynotes and performance/wellbeing programs in aviation, banking, legal, realestate, education, technology and government contexts.I’m a Member of the Board of Directors at The Alannah and Madeline Foundation, Director at The World Congress on Family Law and Children’s Rights, and Advisory Board Member for Dolly's Dream.I am a regular contributor on Channel 9’s, The Today Show, hosted by Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo. I was the resident psychologist for two years on 774 ABC radio, Afternoons, with Clare Bowditch, and contribute regularly on ABC’s Radio National, Life Matters, and various podcasts.In 2011 I obtained a PhD from Monash University for research into neural systems involved in eating disorders and mood disorders. I obtained a Postdoctoral Neuroimaging Fellowship at Swinburne University of Technology. I have been invited to present my research at multiple international psychiatric, scientific meetings including Society of Biological Psychiatry. I have been an Associate Editor at the journal, Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews, and a member of the Editorial Board.
