Dr. Keegan Tangeman is an accomplished Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist with over 13 years of experience in providing evidence-based treatments and leading impactful initiatives in the field. Known for a compassionate and methodical approach, Dr. Tangeman has built and expanded mental health services within various clinical settings, including creating and leading a department that provides school-based mental health services to thousands of children, adolescents, and families across California.With specialized expertise in psychological assessments, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Dr. Tangeman has designed and implemented treatment programs for neurodevelopmental disorders, enhanced by Dr. Tangeman's ability to lead diverse multidisciplinary teams of clinicians, ensuring high-quality care and collaboration across various disciplines. This includes a national diagnostic assessment program with the overarching goal of helping families access comprehensive, state-of-the-art psychological services. In the academic realm, Dr. Tangeman has trained and mentored hundreds of doctoral students, designing and overseeing a successful program for psychology trainees at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
