• Facilitated Love’s Cradle: Building Strong Families through Relationship Enhancement curriculum-based groups with unmarried expectant couples in Durham, NC.
• Initiated and designed a curriculum-based PowerPoint presentation that is currently used in all group sessions and in the training of new program personnel.
• Created facilitator’s manual used to orient new facilitators to the SC-SC program.
• Provided referrals and technical assistance to program staff to address the needs of individual participants; lead to improved communication between facilitators, family care coordinators, and fatherhood coordinator.
• Resolved clients’ concerns during group sessions and received positive feedback and evaluations from program participants, co-facilitators, and supervisor.

Chapel Hill, NC

• Collaborated in the creation, implementation, and evaluation of the Strong Couples-Strong Children (SC-SC) Program, a federal healthy marriage grantee.
• Successfully developed policies and procedures manual used by all program personnel.
• Adapted program curriculum and conducted program fidelity evaluations (monitored facilitation of groups) resulting in improved program fidelity by 100%.
• Spearheaded the SC-SC city-wide marketing campaign and oversaw budget increasing community awareness and program recruitment throughout Durham, NC.
• Analyzed data on the effectiveness of varying group structures. Results were used to evaluate program effectiveness and provide additional groups for optimal performance.
• Developed and submitted bi-annual report to the federal funding agency and assisted in the completion of all required federal reports. Program received funding all five years.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

• Critically analyzed racial and ethnic findings in the areas of early childhood development, early intervention services, mental health, substance abuse treatment, domestic violence, parental arrest, and reunification.
• Designed and published a final report for the Casey-CSSP Alliance which resulted in the dissemination of new knowledge in the child welfare field. No previous study was present at the time of this publication.
• Disseminated findings through professional presentation to community stakeholders (e.g., the Casey-CSSP Alliance and the Race Matters Consortium).
