My areas of specialty are administration, psychoeducation, group, and individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and education, motivational speaking, life skills education, substance abuse counseling, communications skill training, cultural competence training, conflict resolution, and leadership and supervisory skills training, both clinical and in the service industry (which includes hotels, office building, and large hospitals). My past addiction led me to periods of homelessness, some near-death experiences (such as being shot in the head, run down by an automobile, and stabbed multiple times), relationship disruptions, and periods of unemployment. In 2006 I was delivered by God from addiction and conducted a painstaking introspective work on myself and became pro-active and responsible for my life. Moreover, I forgave myself and all those whom I perceived hurt me. I then went back to school for nine years full-time (while working as a personal trainer to take care of my family), and rebuilt my lifeThe pain of my past humbled me to tap into the power of God and to walk in my purpose.
