Reporting to the Fuel Tank Inerting Systems R&D Director, key responsibilities include the technical leadership of projects as part of a global team of R&D professionals engaged in Aerospace Fuel Tank Inerting Systems development for global customers such as Airbus, Bombardier, Sukhoi and COMACResponsibilities:• Ensure the division is the platform leader in aerospace fuel tank inerting systems• Identify and develop disruptive fuel tank inerting technologies• Provide technical expertise to solve customer technical challenges• Engage with academia, government agencies, technical experts • Produce technical publications and qualification documents• Coach and lead teams in Europe & USA in problem solving and root cause analysis

Seconded to the United States at the request of Parker's Aerospace group to support multiple high priority projects reporting to the Fuel Tank Inerting Systems R&D Director.Responsibilities:• Develop and implement a modular VOC & water injection system• Develop sampling techniques and analysis methods to characterize the chemical composition of compressed air, cabin air and bleed air• Optimize bespoke SPME, TD-GC-MS and FTIR analytical techniques with an accredited laboratory• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving investigations
