Currently working as an Assistant Professor in School of Artificial Intelligence at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. An AI/ML/DS enthusiast who is a PhD graduate from National Institute of Technology Silchar, India with the specialization in computational materials science and materials-informatics. My PhD research mainly utilized Physics informed Machine Learning Models to push the boundaries in the domain of Computational Materials Science (specifically atomistic simulations).In the short tenure of my research experience, I actively participated in collaborative research with prestigious national and international research institutions, including IIT Kanpur (India), IIT Bombay (India), Swansea University (U.K.) and University of Southampton (U.K.). My research interests and expertise broadly lie in the intersection of machine learning/deep learning and materials design and discovery. The history of novel materials discovery suggests that most of them happened accidentally, I believe that with the strategic integration of data driven framework a robust approach can be devised. I am currently interested in materials-informatics driven design of high entropy alloys, and other functional materials for their prospective applications in the domain of structural engineering, energy, biomedical, etc.
