- Serve as the Office of Health Equity's (OHE) recognized authority and expert consultant for quantitative data analysis and interpretation specific to issues of VHA health equity - Serve as the Co-Investigator of social and behavioral research studies examining health disparities and related outcomes among Veterans- Serve as the OHE recognized authority and liaison on issues related to protection of human subjects, patient privacy, and data security- Responsible for developing and applying new and existing analytical methods to monitor progress towards achieving health equity in VHA

- Provided research support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.- Identified and developed social network concepts and process and outcome measures, including technical flow diagrams to describe intervention strategies.- Implemented a case-control study, and evaluated and published research findings, in order to target key transmitters in an outbreak of HIV on southern college campuses.- Consulted with health departments in implementing effective prevention strategies.
