Provide the vision, architecture strategy and lead in the R&D development of next generation AI Chipset solutions. I strictly follow my discipline to start with scientific theory, then develop software algorithms that can then be proven in real world products to shape industry. Following this practice we have been able to launch our first generation chip in commercial grade within the first year of forming our company, and will launch at least one new generation each year to stay well in the lead of the industry with our AI Acceleration chipsets.

Conducted research on suitable chipset technologies to evaluate the possibility of updating prior concepts into viable designs and architectures that would address the overlooked opportunity to provide AI solutions from the devices on the Edge of the network.

Us

Developed Chinese national digital television standard, inventing the DMBT (Digital Multimedia Broadcast for Television) standard in collaboration with the Chinese academic community and regulators. Became the standard allowing domestic television producers and technology companies to leapfrog other world standards with superior HDTV performance and inherent “future-proof” elements. Deployed the standard with HDTV levels of performance while enabling the same technology and content to support mobile video services, and created patented technologies for digital television that became essential elements in the Chinese standard. Part of the core technology later became integrated into the 4G wireless standard to provide error correction code needed for high quality mobile video services.

Developed many innovations, such as a Seiko Wristwatch pager, a GSM chip for National Semiconductor, a ATSC Digital Television chip for Fujitsu, an iridium satellite telephone chip for Kyocera, and many other pioneering products.
