WHO I AMI am a visionary leader using strategic system thinking in developing programs and solutions that integrate diverse stakeholder interests to solve complex problems with real-world implications. I am a catalyst for institutional change, applying my unique interdisciplinary skillset and health-equity lens.WHAT I DOI advance health equity. As a leader, trainer, researcher, organizer, director, and program director, I created or contributed to various initiatives enabling personal agency and strengthening community resilience. In 2020, I founded the Institute for Social Public Health offering interdisciplinary fellowships. From 2018-2020, as the standing Coalition Co-chair for the King County Coalition of Unions, I successfully championed the advancement of economic, social, and racial justice for 7,000 working people and their communities. From 2017-2020, I personally represented 1,100 employees through HR resolutions, wage negotiations, FMLA compliance, policy creation and implementation, and substantially increased individual donations. I am continuously honored to bring my professional development training program to expand agency and opportunities so we may each better serve our communities. As a previous executive committee member on four different Board of Directors, I exude the fortitude and drive necessary to lead as part of a team committed to community health and resilience.SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS• High-level experience across non-profit, Labor, business, government, and community service sectors.• Secured a 7% increase for social workers, a 3% increase for nutritionists and health inspectors, a 14%+ increase for administrative staff ($500K a year), and no skimming and gender fluidity language. • Bargained 1st hazard pay for 100 workers at COVID quarantine centers, resulting in 5% in additional wages for admin staff and a 25% increase for medical assistants.• Co-led King County Coalition of Unitions, resulting in labor policy amendments to increase worker safety, reduce the cost of litigation and arbitration, and bargained a wage equity clause valued at $8M.• Participated in writing and implementing King County HR anti-harassment policy for 7,000 represented workers.• 2015 Public Health Excellence Award for Student Community Service.• 2014 Public Engagement Award – Center for Ecogenetics and Environmental Health.• 2012 Gilbert S.
