I'm a GP first and foremost but in a need to remain in control of my workload I have co-founded Pallant Medical Chambers in order to support doctors to be able to work within the NHS but in a way that reduces burnout and allows for flexibility e.g if you're bringing up a family. More recently, I have recognised the huge need to share menopause information with women to allow them to be forearmed and forewarned about this significant change time in their lives. This in turn has led to me wanting to support women in the workplace by offering businesses the tools to become menopause aware. This allows women to continue to thrive and fulfil their full potential in the workplace, whilst also giving businesses the fantastic opportunity to keep hold of experienced women who are ready to move into leadership roles. The yoga is a side hustle which allows me to promote wellbeing and self care and I've recently published my insider's guide to the menopause 'Sweats, Frets but no Regrets', again to give women as much information as possible to allow them to negotiate what can be a turbulent and much misunderstood time.
