“My own life experience has led me to believe that we each have a choice – a choice to live fully or to merely exist." Dr. Lynette Steele combines medicine, art, mysticism and the ancient healing philosophies of the healing arts to create unique healing experiences for people. She is the founder of SheArt and SheArt Studio. SheArt is about the art of healing, or the Art of Wholeness, the medicine of beauty and balance, of healing and restoration. Using the language of art to bring to life what is inherently right – a hidden wholeness– that is just under the surface of our greatest losses, sufferings and pain.She qualified as a medical doctor from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and completed a doctorate degree in Energy Medicine and Spiritual healing through Holos University, USA. Other qualifications include training in Chinese acupuncture, hypnotherapy, psychoneuroimmunology, art therapy, health and wellness coaching, executive coaching, Voicebio Analysis, music and the Nia dance technique. As a graduate of Functional Medicine she applies a systems approach to restore function and optimize health. Her work experience includes private and public medical practice, coaching, workshop facilitating, speaking engagements and corporate work.She is also a multimedia artist, with a preference for sculpting.Specialties: Women's Health and Healing, Healing Arts, Group workshops, consulting, seminars.
