Same as my degree in Environmental Sciences stands out as interdisciplinar, my many interests in environmental issues range wide. During my degree internship, the development of my degree thesis and a stay at Utrecht University (NL), I developed myself into Environmental Chemistry. My most recent job experience in Repsol as HSE and Risk Analysis Specialist has allowed me to work deeply in Environmental Management, as well as enhance my skills in Data Analysis and Data Reporting.My degree internship was carried out at the CIEMAT Department of Environment, in the Soil Conservation and Recovery group, where I participated in a joint project UAM-CIEMAT, carrying out the complete soil characterization of samples collected at Deception Island, Antarctica. I also participated in an EU project about yield of crops in degraded soils. This short but rich experience allowed me to enjoy the working environment in a pure scientific scenario for the first time.I developed an extensive and interesting degree thesis at the UAM Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Bromathology, studying the impact of heavy metals pollution in the efficacy of iron fertilizers in agricultural soils from Ciudad Real, Spain. An elaborated experimental work and literature research was rewarded with a final grade of 9,1/10.The UNESCO Environmental Geochemistry summer course, given by the UAM and UCLM institutions, was supplementary for my knowledge and interests while finishing my degree thesis.The possibility of working at the Universiteit Utrecht, thanks to the Erasmus+ Placement program, was granted by the experience achieved at the UAM Department of Agricultural Chemistry. In The Netherlands, I was joyful to work with Dr Walter Schenkeveld, carrying out an experimental project about the role of coumarin compounds in the mobilization of heavy metals in soils for iron nutrition of plants.All this activities reported me a broad laboratory experience, that was tested when I was entrusted to supervise two students starting their Master's thesis at the Universiteit Utrecht.I supplemented my knowledge with a double Master's course in Soil Contamination & Judicial Expertise, while at the same time, working in Repsol as part of the Risk Assessment unit, in the S&E department, performing environmental assessments, sustainability data reporting and occupational safety management.I work at Clarity AI as a member of the Data Research team, bringing societal impact to markets and investment decisions through data of quality.
