Serve as the FEI primary formulator and the company's Medical Educator.Updated and built out the 5 year pipeline (Innovation Master Plan) based on the business Must Win, Pursue and Explore Categories. Initial concept ideation of 25 new formulas to hit target business and market needs. Work involved: discovery of scientific findings on novel ingredients to keep New Chapter's products unique to the market; development of formula rationales, work with cross functional teams to ensure safety, regulatory and clinical relevance of new formulas; and work with marketing and products research to create early claims language. Built out five new formulas backed with research using scientifically supported ingredients, which were transitioned to the base technical team for commercialization. Supported base commercialization as the technical representative for formulation understanding. Brought new concept forms to the executive team and aligned on how to bring these to the market to increase New Chapter's market share and healing mission. Worked with Products Research to confirm Master Innovation Plan ideas using qualitative and quantitative market research data. Additionally worked with Products Research to deepen findings of newly commercialized products. Took part in trade shows, as a guest on radio shows, at sales events, and for test & learn events as the Medical Educator on behalf of the company. Supported base business efforts on formulation upgrades including work on overages, scientific updates to formulas, reformulations, and quality specs.

Key technical team member providing research support to the development of new products. Main objectives: develop formulations and formulation rationales; partner with Connect & Develop on sourcing new ingredients; obtain preliminary costing; ensure Safety clearance path; confirm NDI status; partner with Products Research on claims development, consumer testing and product positioning. Scientific support: new formula creation, reformulation projects, claims development and POC writing, spec writing, white papers, scientific updates on current ingredients, creation of key Sales presentations, and company publications. Support external events as a Doctor, representing the brand at trade shows, radio show interviews, and test and learn sites.
