Dr. Maiysha Clairborne is a Physician, Thought Leader, Consultant, and Master Trainer of Neurolinguistic Programming. The founder of the Mind Re-Mapping Co., she helps individuals and organizations better understand trauma and how it affects the brain, behavior, and communication through her training, consulting, and coaching. Dr. Maiysha focuses her work on helping organizations create an inclusive & psychologically safe environments where their leaders and staff not only feel seen, heard, respected, and valued but that also foster productivity, engagement, collaboration, & thus a thriving sustainable workforce in the organization. Informed by neuroscience and focused on equity and inclusion in healthcare and corporations, Dr. Maiysha bridges the gap between insight and application, teaching her audiences the tools to master their communication & thought habits, so that they can mitigate harm, become responsible for the impact of their words & behaviors, and create meaningful interactions in the workplace. Dr. Clairborne earned her BA in Psychology from Emory University. She went on to complete her Doctor of Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine, and her Family Medicine Residency at Florida Hospital. In addition to speaking at TEDx Asheville in 2022, she is the author of the Wellness Blueprint, the co-author of Conscious Anti-Racism, and the host of the Behind Beliefs and Behaviors Podcast.
