XYZ signifies three demographic generations (Gen X, Gen Y aka Millennials, and upcoming Gen Z). The consulting services offered include: attracting, motivating and retaining Millennials, overcoming generational tension in the workplace, and leadership coaching with a focus on strategically leading multigenerational workforce members to enhance overall performance. Millennials traditionally were born after 1980. For the first time in the history of the US, there are five generations in the workforce with more than 60 years separating the oldest active workers and those just entering the workforce. The role of the leader/manager has changed as a result of these dynamics. Many leaders are finding it challenging to lead and manage cross-generational workforces. XYZ was formed after four years of Doctoral study and more than 200 interviews with Millennials.

As part of the deregulated energy sales leadership team, sales revenue grew from $400 million to $6 billion in five years. Also serving as the hiring manager for the sales organization, more than 50 employees were hired during that period, having interviewed over 250 for these 50 positions.
