About Mark Brow
In addition to completing an Education doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, I have completed a Master's degree in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment (MESA) with the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have completed Ph.D. MESA program at UIC (May 2020) with a dissertation titled 'Comparing Flexible/Propensity Approaches for Hierarchical Data with Complex Sampling'. Published studies are in the area of quantitative methodology and utilize structure equation modeling, hierarchical linear modeling, and Rasch measurement. Current interest is in machine learning/predictive modeling, computer adaptive testing, propensity score analysis, natural language processing, convolution neural networks (image processing), mixed effects models, and power analysis.
