Dr. Martez Prince began his pharmacy career at the age of 16 as a pharmacy clerk at an independent pharmacy before attending Florida A & M University, where he graduated from the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2010 with his Doctorate in Pharmacy. Upon Graduating, Dr. Prince relocated to Charlotte, NC, to work for a big-box retailer as a community pharmacist where he excelled amongst his peers in service and helping patients achieve their wellness goals. After identifying corporate barriers that prevented Dr. Prince from impacting the patients in the manner he always envisioned, he decided to make his corporate exit to launch Premier Pharmacy and Wellness Center, an independent pharmacy with the community at its forefront. Dr. Prince created a model that would earn him many awards in the area of pharmacy, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy, as well as the attention of Media Mogul Oprah Winfrey, who quoted his work as "A model for the country'. In addition to his role as the CEO of Premier Pharmacy and Wellness Center, Dr. Prince serves on multiple community boards in addition to his role as Chairman of The Premier Foundation of NC in which he also founded in 2015 as a philanthropic arm to Premier Pharmacy and Wellness Center. The Premier Foundation has provided over $100,000 in scholarships and services to the community as an effort to level the playing field. Dr. Prince has been quoted in more than 90 publications such as black enterprise, NBC Health News and other notable publications. Although Dr. Prince's lives by the famous quote of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson which states "Success isn't always about greatness. It's about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come.” He still finds time to enjoy life and indulge in some of his favorite hobbies such as traveling, cooking, outdoor adventures, creating content for media, and helping others execute their ideas beyond conception.
