-Provided coverage for the crisis telephone hotline.- individual counseling services to shelter residents and conducted crisis interventions.-Met the primary needs (food, supplies, bus tokens, and clothing) of the residents.-Maintained up-to-date case files, progress notes, and statistical information/documentation.-Conducted group sessions (i.e.-house meetings, support groups, conflict resolution sessions, etc.)-Co-Led the Art Empowerment Group, Led the Crocheting Mindfully & Journaling Groups.-Promoted empowerment, non-violence, and independent decision making at all times through the use of a strengths based, solution-focused framework and perspective.

-Enrolled Health Home members and coordinated their medical care and social services under the auspices of the Greater Buffalo United Accountable Healthcare Network & Medicaid.-Worked closely with health home members, including immigrant populations and seniors; as well as medical providers, social service providers, other patient services and agencies to improve patient care and outcomes and facilitate cultural and linguistic access.-Served as the Jewish Community Front Door for all members of the Jewish Community in Buffalo & Erie County who require social services, including survivors and child survivors of the Holocaust.

Worked as part of a clinical team to provide Solutions Focused Brief Therapy interventions with families, teens, couples, and individuals referred to the Family Solutions Center (via self-referral, voluntary referral, and mandated referral).

-Worked to provide group and individual behavioral interventions to elementary school students referred to the school social worker.-Ran groups and individual counseling sessions for students who struggled with social skills development, behavioral skills, ADHD, and divorce (among other things).-Conducted and provided assessments to the school social worker and school psychologist as needed.

-Directed a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit underneath the auspices of the Bureau of Jewish Education that provides education, outreach, training, advocacy, programming, and program support to assist people with disabilities in achieving full and meaningful inclusion in Western New York.-Created and implemented Yad B’Yad’s Disability Safe Zone Training program and protocol to educate and train individuals on how to work respectfully with those who have disabilities.-Created and implemented joint programming with the Autism Center at Women’s and Children’s Hospital and The Parent Network of WNY in order to provide services for teens with Autism who are transitioning from high school to vocational programs, academic programs, or the work force.

-Was responsible for all financial activity for the firm; improved on, and initiated new control processes in order to prevent fraud, and to cut wasteful spending.- Was responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, including benefits management, employee mediation, and employee recruitment.
