Dr. Matthew Fournier is an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon trusted by the US Ski and Snowboard team and the NCAA Division I Wyoming Cowboys. Dr. Fournier's practice includes complex injuries of the shoulder, hip, and knee, as well as joint replacement. He has special training and expertise in treatment of sports injuries through minimally invasive joint arthroscopy, and has had the privilege to take care of elite athletes from all over the world.In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Fournier has extensive experience in technical and medical writing including research proposals, grant writing, as well as production, editing and review of peer-reviewed research articles. He has managed several research projects from inception to publication of first-authored manuscripts in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals in the fields of sports medicine, joint arthroplasty, and medical education.
