As a seasoned Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician with nine years of invaluable experience, I am deeply committed to serving in medical missions and providing compassionate care to underserved communities.In addition to my medical practice, I am an impassioned advocate for wellness, actively engaged in health and wellness consulting for corporations and nonprofit organizations. My focus lies in promoting wellness practices, bringing awareness to disparities in medicine, and cultivating safe, supportive environments within workplaces to mitigate turnover and prevent burnout among employees.Drawing on my entrepreneurial spirit, I have ventured into the skincare industry with the creation of Shea Seasons. Our mission is to address dry skin conditions by offering organic, non-toxic solutions deeply rooted in the wisdom of West African philosophy.Beyond my professional pursuits, I find fulfillment in the creative realm. Recently, I authored a captivating children's book titled "Curious Rosie: A Trip to the Hospital." This book serves not only to educate and inspire children about the medical field but also to celebrate the rich diversity within medicine. Through storytelling, I aspire to ignite curiosity and instill a sense of empowerment in young minds, fostering a deeper appreciation for the vast possibilities within healthcare.With the expansion of the book, I created @STEMKiddos, a company focused on cultivating a love of medicine and STEM among children while showcasing diversity . Our debut product, the anatomy toy backpack, serves as an engaging educational tool designed to inspire and educate young learners.
