Dr. Michael Bryant has been practicing Optometry in Oshawa since 2005. Born and raised in Oshawa, Dr. Bryant attended Eastdale Collegiate where he was awarded Ontario Scholar. He earned his B.Sc. in Honours Pre-Optometry/Pre-Health Sciences with a Biology Minor at the University of Waterloo prior to graduating from the College of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. His first clinical rotation was in Pembroke Pines, Florida at a private practice dealing heavily in sports vision and contact lenses. It was at this site Dr. Bryant had the privilege of providing vision screening services to the Miami Dolphins football team. He then completed an externship in ocular disease management at the Eye Centers of South Florida while working closely with ophthalmologists. Dr. Bryant also has experience in other specialties including contact lenses, pediatrics, and low vision.
