Meg Adams is a founder of Homeplace Creative, a consulting and visual storytelling firm focused on helping organizations use strategic storytelling to build sustainable brands. Meg is a researcher and professor trusted to deliver presentations and training to inspire individuals and teams to tell better stories strategically across media channels. Meg knew she would be a storyteller from the moment she was tasked to “write a book” in third grade and chewed the erasers off many pencils in the process. Since then she developed a passion for the study of storytelling and teaching others the methods and science of storytelling so they become inspired to tell their own stories. She has a PhD in rhetoric and writing in which she conducted original research studying the role of digital storytelling in individual and community development. Meg is a former television journalist and current communications professor. Today, she works with a variety of clients at Homeplace Creative including those in the government, corporate, and small business to share genuine, impactful stories on and offline. We also specialize in training. We offer a variety of communication and digital storytelling courses aimed at helping individuals tell better stories in-person and by using the technology already at their fingertips.Our mission and focus is on storytelling. We bring years of experience as journalists, professors, and marketers to our clients to help them engage with audiences. For centuries, humans have known stories help us build deeper relationships, follow our passions, and come together across difference.
