CurrentVascular and Interventional Experts (VIE) is a specialty physician practice providing comprehensive clinical and procedural care in a cost-effective outpatient setting. VIE specializes in the care of many different medical problems and patient types and provides an integral referral resource for primary care and specialist physicians. VIE has the unique ability to provide outpatient care across the clinical spectrum from initial evaluation and diagnosis to longitudinal patient care including medical management and therapeutic procedures. This outpatient practice model provides safe, high quality and low-cost care for patients requiring vascular and interventional expertise. VIE is focused on the care of patients with lower extremity arterial, venous, and lymphatic problems, women’s health, dialysis access maintenance, oncologic diagnosis and treatment, and genitourinary problems. VIE expertise includes diagnosis and treatment of lower extremity wounds, leg pain and swelling, critical limb ischemia, claudication, superficial venous incompetence, deep venous thrombosis and obstruction with state of the art techniques including diagnostic angiography, venography, angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy, thrombectomy, venous ablation and wound/ulcer care. Women’s health includes diagnosis and treatment of infertility (fallopian tube recanalization), uterine fibroids (fibroid embolization) and pelvic venous congestion (venous embolization and stenting). VIE provides outpatient central venous access (tunneled lines, chest ports), US and CT guided biopsies, and percutaneous drainage procedures. End stage renal disease patients on hemodialysis are managed with central venous catheters and fistula maintenance including thrombectomy, angioplasty and stenting. New and emerging procedures such as prostate artery embolization for symptomatic BPH and geniculate artery embolization for knee pain will also be offered at VIE.
