Dr Michael Green is a Director in EY’s Climate Change & Sustainability team with over 12 years of experience working in climate change, adaptation planning and decision-making. He is an economist and environmental scientist with significant experience undertaking climate risk and resilience assessments. He has delivered TCFD assessments and prepared Climate Change Adaptation Plans (CCAP) on behalf of major infrastructure clients in the UK, including providing direct technical contributions to UK CCRA3. He has coordinated major international projects on behalf of the United Nations Environment Programme, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, World Bank and the Caribbean Development Bank and has previously led projects on behalf of the UK Committee on Climate Change, Environment Agency and DEFRA. He is a member of the UKCP18 Non-Governmental User Group and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Global Sustainability Institute, based in Cambridge. Michael is currently coordinating the delivery of TCFD engagements on behalf of major FTSE100 and FTSE250 companies, this includes providing technical advice and support in relation to scenario analysis and financial materiality assessment.
