Dr. Kearns is an educator and musician on faculty at Georgian College and Wilfrid Laurier University. He currently teaches courses on music and culture, communication, research, and world religions. Currently conductor and musical director of the After Hours Big Band, he is an active adjudicator and clinician in North America. His research foci are post-secondary jazz education and popular music.
