I am working part time as part of the University Health and Counselling Service at the University of Auckland. I am also working with children and adolescents (and their families) to assist in their journey through life in my private practice. The work is rewarding!I am also pursuing various avenues for the publication of my research. I have successfully implemented and investigated an intervention model that provides participants, predominantly children and adolescents, with a range of social and relational skills. The research demonstrated that longitudinally, participants significantly benefited. Discoveries from the research provide educational providers in New Zealand, and internationally, further options for their various curriculum's.I am a long term practitioner and follower of martial arts, and have been involved since a young age. I am the branch instructor for GKR (GoKanRyu) karate at Glenfield Primary school in Auckland. I am also a proponent, participant, and an RPM and TRIP instructor for Les Mills group fitness in Auckland.
