Following a start in medical journalism and media as a Medical Student Producer of The Dr. Oz Show, I have focused my career on medical content, medical review, and developing patient education to drive better health outcomes, acquisition, and retention at fast-growing companies including Ro and Hims & Hers. I enjoy being on the leading edge of how people engage with the healthcare system—first with the democratization of health information through television, radio, podcasts, and the internet, then through the boom of telehealth during and following the pandemic, and now with expanding the horizon of accessibility and health services that can be delivered from a distance by incorporating newer modalities like at-home lab testing, remote patient monitoring, and multimedia education with and without the support of AI.Having experience in both startup and public companies, I contribute to clinical strategy, growth, product development, and communications. I've built and led teams and developed processes to facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Clinical and partners from Legal, Regulatory Compliance, Product Marketing, Content, and other disciplines.With an active medical license and certifications in public health and medical affairs, and with a healthcare-focused MBA and certificates in marketing management and digital strategy, business law, and corporate governance, I have an understanding of how to approach problems and generate solutions from the medical and business perspectives simultaneously.As a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach, I have specific expertise in the field of weight management, and I also have deep professional experience with digital health solutions in the areas of sexual health, dermatology, mental health, and supplements. Outside of my full-time work, I consult in biotech with a focus on Medical Affairs and creating content for investors.On a personal note, my hobbies include biking, resistance training, sailing, scuba diving, skiing, tennis, and traveling. I also love animals (dinosaurs included) and think archæology is really cool.
